Education and Training Level 3
The course will be delivered on a Saturday morning every other week for 3 hours completing mid March 24 with a face to face Microteach session. However if learners live a long way away they can attend virtually.
The course provides a foundation anyone who wants to get into teaching and training and it is a City and Guilds Level 3 - A Level equivalent.

Changing Direction or a Trainer?
If you want to enter the world of education then you will
need your Level 3 Award. This is a nationally-recognised
qualification needed for starting your teaching career. It is
the ideal foundation course for anyone looking to teach in
the adult education and skills sector.
If you are a trainer in your organisation and want to step up
to a higher training accreditation then this is the course for
you.
Moving Into Teaching
It is also ideal for dipping your toes into teaching by
demonstrating your competence as a teacher and
commitment by completing a short course in your own
time and improving your chances to be shortlisted for a
Teaching Position
A little bit about the course
Starting in January 2024 and with no more than 10 students,
the three month course will take you step by step through
the range of skills needed. It is scheduled on a Saturday
Morning to fit around family life. Gentle progressions with
each session.
